This role is responsible for supporting the Make Ready function, particularly with pole work. The OSP Engineer will handle engineering work orders (EWO) and collaborate across multiple workgroups and turfs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize current and evolving technologies to accomplish work assignments.
- Use personal computers and/or paper records to gather and obtain relevant information.
- Apply OSP Protocol methods and procedures, along with multiple databases, to complete designs.
- Track and monitor the progress to ensure timely completion of engineering work orders.
- Employ cost-effective methods in your work.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or four or more years of relevant work experience.
- Strong background in Outside Plant (OSP) Engineering.
- Ability to review and understand Engineering Work Orders (EWO).
- Experience in project management across various work groups and regions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for inter-organizational and customer communications.
