- Support clients in achieving their goals and aspirations, promoting independence and self-advocacy.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients, adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Assist clients with personal care, including grooming, bathroom needs, and meal preparation.
- Transport clients to appointments, activities, and social events, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues, promoting a culture of respect and empathy.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 1 year of experience in caregiving or a related field, preferably supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Direct Support Professional Certificate (Year 1 & Year 2) and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training preferred.
- First Aid and CPR certification required within 30 days of employment.
- Valid California Driver's License required.
- Competitive hourly rate based on certification.
