Senior Rehabilitation Therapist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our client's rehabilitation team at Snelling Staffing - Gwinnett.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with physical disabilities, injuries, or diseases through therapeutic exercises, functional training, and other physical therapy modalities.
This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday (no weekend rotation) with a regular 35 hour schedule. Our ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations to determine functional limitations, strengths, and areas for improvement.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on the patients condition, goals, and needs.
- Implement physical therapy interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and the use of modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and home care strategies to enhance recovery and prevent further injury.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Stay current with advancements in physical therapy and participate in continuing education opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Ensure a safe, supportive, and professional environment for all patients.
We offer an attractive compensation package, with a salary range of $41.00 - $48.00 per hour, reflecting your experience and qualifications. This translates to approximately $83,840 - $99,696 per year, based on a 35-hour workweek. We also provide a range of benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
Qualifications and RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must have a valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility. A Master's degree in Physical Therapy, or a related field, is also required. Additionally, you must have a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and excellent communication skills.
