Position Summary:
The primary role involves receiving building materials from suppliers, organizing, labeling, and tracking special orders within the yard. Key Responsibilities:
  • Familiarize yourself with company products, operational procedures, culture, and customer service standards.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to all clients.
  • Accurately unload and load materials for trucks and customers, ensuring compliance with documentation.
  • Organize, label, and store materials following established protocols.
  • Safely operate equipment, adhering to company safety policies.
  • Follow procedures for yard loading and delivery.
  • Document merchandise returns accurately and manage the return process with vendors.
  • Address customer complaints effectively and professionally.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized work environment.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • A strong desire for professional growth and development.
  • Ability to respond swiftly and accurately to challenges.
  • Capacity to stand or walk for extended periods (4-10 hours daily).
  • Basic computer and calculator proficiency.
  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Willingness to complete forklift training.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Physical capability to lift and carry weights exceeding 70 pounds.
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, and crouch as needed.
