Key Responsibilities:
  • Enforce laws and ordinances, including traffic laws and regulations
  • Respond to emergency calls and provide assistance as needed
  • Conduct investigations and gather evidence
  • Provide support to the community through educational programs and outreach
  • Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies and community organizations
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid North Carolina driver's license required
  • Must be at least 20 years old
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must pass a background check and physical fitness test
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BLET certification in North Carolina or another state
  • Experience in law enforcement or a related field
