Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Primary Therapist to join our treatment team. As a Primary Therapist, you will work closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans, provide individual and group therapy, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver group psychotherapy, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy groups and evidence-based trauma treatment
- Provide individual and family therapy, building strong rapport with patients and engaging them in recommended levels of care and treatments
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and risk assessments, as clinically indicated
- Complete progress notes in a timely fashion and coordinate case consultation with outside providers/treatment teams
- Participate in weekly supervisions and quarterly trainings, as needed
- Provide DBT phone coaching, adhering to DBT structure and format, as needed and at assigned hours
- Work a minimum of one evening shift per week and collaborate with the leadership team to create a culture of compassion and healing
- Completion of a graduate degree (MA, MS, PhD, or PsyD)
- 2+ years of experience in a clinical or healthcare setting
- Licensure or license eligibility (LPC, LSW, LCPC, LCSW, PhD, or PsyD)
- Exceptional organization skills, reliability, and timeliness
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Clinical proficiency in treatment, diagnosis, and documentation
- Reliable transportation to work
- Proficiency in Microsoft products (Word, Outlook, Excel) and familiarity with EHR systems
- Clinical experience with eating disorders and/or mood and anxiety disorders, trauma
- Problem-solving orientation and eagerness to identify process gaps and implement practical solutions
- Ability to work independently and recognize the need for support, with a willingness to ask for help
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond with confidence during challenging situations
