We are seeking a skilled ER Nurse to join our team at St. Luke's Jerome Medical Center in Idaho. This is a 13-week assignment with a 12-hour night shift schedule.
Job Requirements- Must have current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
- Experience in ER nursing, with a focus on critical care and emergency situations
- Ability to work independently with limited resources and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Experience with medication titration and conscious sedation, as well as blood product administration
- 12-hour night shifts, with every other weekend
- Self-scheduling, with flexibility to work with management to balance schedules
- May be asked to participate in holiday rotations
- Work in a fast-paced ER environment, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care
- Experience with triage and patient assessment, with the ability to read and interpret tele and document appropriately
- Ability to work in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and communication
- Experience with medication administration and management, including titration and conscious sedation
- Non-trauma ER, with a focus on emergency situations and critical care
- Triage out of the lobby, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- 17 patients per day, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3-4
