Job Summary: SkyBridge Healthcare Therapy is seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team for a travel assignment in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and rehabilitation centers.
  • Assess patients' physical and cognitive abilities, and develop personalized treatment plans to help them achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Conduct therapy sessions, including exercises, activities, and education, to promote patients' independence and well-being.
  • Document patient progress, including treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.

Requirements:

  • Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in occupational therapy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
