Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team at Comfort Inn & Suites- East Greenbush Albany. As a Hotel Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and attractiveness of our guest rooms, hallways, and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Room Preparation and Cleaning: Thoroughly clean and restock guest rooms, including changing linens, replenishing supplies, and removing trash and dirty linen.
  • Cart Setup and Maintenance: Prepare and maintain housekeeping carts with necessary supplies, ensuring that all rooms are adequately stocked.
  • Guest Room Maintenance: Conduct 'deep cleaning' activities within guest rooms, including preventative maintenance tasks, to ensure a high level of cleanliness and quality.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other hotel staff to ensure seamless operations and maintain a positive and respectful work environment.
  • Adherence to Hotel Standards: Comply with hotel standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members, both verbally and in writing.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
  • Stress Management: Ability to work well in stressful and high-pressure situations.
