Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct patient care utilizing the nursing process in alignment with established standards and practices.
Essential Skills:
Possess critical thinking abilities, sound judgment, and the capacity to operate with minimal oversight. Must thrive in high-pressure environments and respond appropriately.
Certifications Required:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (to be obtained within 30 days of hire), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (to be obtained within 90 days of hire for RNs and GNs), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification (to be obtained within 90 days of hire), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification (to be obtained within 1 year of employment), Handle With Care training (to be completed within 90 days of hire).
Licensure:
Must hold a valid Registered Nurse license in the State of Texas.
