Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Physician to join our team at Physician Empire as a Psychiatry Specialist. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing psychiatric services for adult and young adult patients in a partial hospitalization program, intensive outpatient program, and Suboxone clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient services including diagnostic admission evaluations, psychotherapy, and pharmacotherapy, as appropriate.
- Perform Medication Assisted Treatment for opiate-dependent patients and monitor Suboxone maintenance patients in the outpatient clinic.
- Work within a multi-disciplinary treatment team and act as a clinical team leader for the coordination and supervision of care provided across clinical disciplines.
- Communicate effectively with outside providers, primary care physicians, schools, and family members as needed.
- Provide rotational coverage to ensure continuity of psychiatric coverage and consultation services during daytime hours, nights, weekends, vacations, and holidays.
- Supervise selected non-physician health professionals.
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible psychiatrist
- Buprenorphine waiver
- Experience in evaluation services and a multidisciplinary team treatment model
