Job Type:

This role involves working Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM, with no weekend, holiday, or on-call duties.

Daily Responsibilities:
- Operate advanced imaging equipment to conduct high-quality diagnostic exams and procedures, including GE Discovery scanners and Siemens Definition CTs.
- Perform F18 FDG, PSMA, and Ga-68 imaging exams, averaging 6 to 8 procedures daily.
- Adhere to established protocols in compliance with NYS DOH (New York State Department of Health) and ACR (American College of Radiology) standards.
- Ensure proper patient positioning and transport for examinations.
- Implement radiation safety measures in accordance with prescribed standards.
- Manage the ordering, receiving, and safe disposal of radioisotopes.
- Review and finalize imaging results in PACS.
- Gather comprehensive patient health histories and complete necessary documentation.
- Conduct routine quality control checks on imaging equipment.

Qualifications Required:
- Successful completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology Program.
- Certification from NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) and/or ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
- Current BLS certification.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in PET imaging.

Compensation:
Gross weekly pay of $3162.
