Position: Mechanic (Journeyman)
  • Diagnose and repair various types of company equipment, including cranes, haul trucks, and support vehicles.
  • Work autonomously on all aspects of the repair process, including diagnostics, research, repair, testing, and inspection.
  • Establish and maintain technical support relationships with manufacturers as necessary.
  • Identify and source parts, and manage outsourcing for cost-effective solutions.
  • Perform repairs, welding, and operate necessary equipment as part of the repair process.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in crane repair and maintenance preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in diesel and heavy equipment repair required.
  • Must be a strong team player.
Physical Demands

Regularly required to sit, stand, reach, bend, stoop, and navigate the shop and equipment. Some heavy physical effort is necessary, including the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Exposure to noise, heat, dust, and fumes is common in the repair environment. Candidates should be prepared for potential extreme weather conditions. A valid driver's license is required for local travel.
