About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Patient Access Center team as a Capacity Management Nurse Leader. This is a part-time position that requires strong leadership and clinical expertise to manage patient flow and optimize capacity within our healthcare system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff in the Patient Access Center, ensuring seamless patient flow and efficient use of resources.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize capacity management, reducing delays and improving patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, making recommendations to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing, BSN required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Massachusetts, required.
  • 10 years of adult critical care and/or emergency department experience, required; 5 years of nurse leader experience, preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
  • CCRN certification preferred.
