RN Weekend Supervisor Job Summary

The RN Weekend Supervisor will play a vital role in ensuring the provision of quality care to our residents at Bastrop Silver Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. As a skilled nursing facility, we strive to promote the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychological well-being of each resident.

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct regular rounds to observe, assess, document, and report resident condition/changes
* Ensure implementation of care plans as directed by physicians and facility policies
* Administer medications as prescribed and perform narcotic reconciliation with incoming and outgoing shifts
* Collaborate with physicians to conduct rounds and record visits in clinical records
* Identify significant changes in resident condition and take necessary action per facility policies and procedures
* Supervise and monitor aides to ensure quality care is provided
* Initiate and complete Incident and Accident Reports per facility policy
* Discharge residents per facility policy

Requirements

* Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas in good standing
* Experience working in a skilled nursing facility is preferred
