Job Summary:
An Associate Attorney in the Employment practice group will provide counsel to clients, assist with filing EEOC complaints, draft complaints, attend administrative hearings, mediate employment disputes, draft and respond to discovery, and draft motions in federal and state court, as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide counsel to employees in all aspects of the employment relationship
- Represent employees in grievances, arbitration, and discrimination complaints
- Synthesize legal research and analysis into a coherent written memorandum or brief for submission to a client, court, or arbitrator
- Negotiate with outside parties on contractual issues and legal disputes, including settlement conferences and mediations
- Required Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school
- Admission to the bar in the state in which you intend to practice
- 1-year minimum experience with the Americans with Disabilities Act ("ADA") and general employment law
