Key Responsibilities- Product Development: Develop products from conceptualization to launch, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Collaboration: Collaborate and consult with Test, Manufacturing, and Quality Engineers to support new product development.
- Customer Engagement: Partner with Sales, Applications, and Marketing teams to create solutions for diverse OEM markets.
- Problem-Solving: Lead or assist in efforts to resolve product performance issues, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Teamwork: Maintain a high level of interaction with customers, sales managers, and application engineers.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of design and product development experience.
- Skills: Curious, creative, and tenacious problem solver with CAD proficiency (PTC Creo, Solidworks, etc.).
- Personal Qualities: Drive, resiliency, curiosity, and team-ability.
- Design Experience: Knowledge of designing plastic components for injection molding, basic understanding of Finite Element Analysis, and machining experience.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with ISO 9001, 13485, medical device, or medical device components.
