Porter Assistant

ABM Industries is seeking a skilled Day Porter to provide cleaning and upkeep services for an assigned area. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients and employees.

• Clean and maintain assigned areas, including floors, surfaces, and fixtures
• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment
• Empty wastebaskets and recyclables
• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping
• Assist with special projects and events as needed

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-2 years of experience in cleaning and maintenance preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
