Responsibilities:

Epic Travel Staffing is looking for a Travel RN - Pediatric ER with the following details:
  • Shifts: Variable or Straight Nights, 12x3, 36 hours per week
  • Contract Length: 13 or 26 Weeks
  • Essential Qualifications:
    • Current CA RN License
    • Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a pediatric emergency department within a children's hospital
    • Proficiency in computerized charting
    • Skills in triage, IV initiation, telemetry, and conscious sedation
    • Certifications: BLS and PALS
    • Preferred: Training in de-escalation techniques
Additional Information:

Candidates without pediatric experience in a children's hospital will not be considered.
**RN must possess a valid CA license, either current or pending with expected posting dates.**
Key Requirements:
• Active CA RN license
• BLS certification
• PALS certification
• At least 2 years of recent experience in a pediatric ED in a children's hospital; mixed adult/pediatric experience will not be accepted.
• Familiarity with computerized charting
• Experience in triage, IV initiation, telemetry, and conscious sedation
Preferred: Training in de-escalation techniques
Shift Details:
• 3x12 contracts, with variable shifts or straight nights
• Block scheduling can be requested
• Contracts available for 13 or 26 weeks
• Variable shifts mean travelers will not be scheduled for both day and night shifts in the same week. Typically, they may work two similar shifts within a month (e.g., 12/14, 7/9, 14/16, 16/19)
