This position involves the implementation of a comprehensive Risk Management Framework, conducting audits, and formulating strategies for IT development and monitoring practices. Key responsibilities include reviewing controls, assessing system vulnerabilities, ensuring data encryption, and managing security incidents. Additionally, the specialist will engage in various routine IT functions that vary in complexity, with a primary focus on maintaining the integrity of computer networks, systems, and data.
Required QualificationsTo be eligible for consideration, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related discipline with four (4) years of pertinent experience; an Associate’s Degree in the same fields with six (6) years of experience; or a High School Diploma with ten (10) years of relevant experience, or equivalent education/work experience as approved by the client.
- Proficiency in Technical Writing: candidates should demonstrate a strong command of the English language and have experience in technical writing to support Cybersecurity compliance efforts.
- Relevant Certification: ISC2 CISSP or an equivalent certification as approved by the client.
- Possession of an Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
