The estimated annual salary for this role is $55,000 - $65,000, depending on experience and location.
Job Description
As a Senior Utility Access Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in ensuring seamless communication between our teams and utility companies. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating daily meetings with utility companies to discuss line clearance work and obtain necessary permissions.
- Communicating with home and business owners to secure access for our crews to perform line clearance work on their properties.
- Interpreting utility circuit maps to identify potential work areas and limitations.
- Providing support to our crews on vegetation management tasks such as spraying, brush clean-up, and trimming.
- Ensuring job safety by enforcing safety protocols and reporting any incidents or near-misses.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience in customer service settings and conflict de-escalation.
- The ability to interpret drawings, environmental engineering plans, construction plans, and utility circuit maps.
- Proficiency in standard office computer hardware and software, including Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to obtain specialized training and certifications, such as tree species identification and local, state, and federal licenses.
