Job Summary

Chai Urgent Care is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for performing and analyzing patient x-rays, reporting results to our physician team, and ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general care and education to patients regarding x-rays
  • Use radiation protection and shielding materials to ensure patient safety
  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and take x-rays following established protocols
  • Perform record-keeping and maintain supply inventory
  • Perform other tasks to maintain a smooth flow of the clinic
  • Ensure equipment is in working order and report malfunctions to the Practice Manager
  • Log radiologic procedures and process related paperwork using computer equipment
  • Maintain examination rooms and stock necessary medical and radiologic supplies
Requirements
  • Minimum high school degree or equivalent
  • ARRT or equivalent certification
  • NY State License
  • Current with continuing education requirements for the ARRT
  • Knowledge of X-Ray procedures and protocols
  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology necessary to perform X-Ray testing
  • Ability to apply written instructions and standardized work practices
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, patients, and families

Pay Rate: $40 to $45 per hour
