Position Overview: Travel Nurse Across America is actively seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN specializing in Telemetry.

We are in search of Telemetry RNs for immediate travel nursing opportunities. Ideal candidates should possess 1-2 years of recent experience in acute care settings. Below are additional details regarding the role.
As a Telemetry Travel Nurse, your primary responsibility will be to provide patient care by connecting individuals to monitoring devices that track vital signs such as heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels. This data is relayed to computer systems for RNs to observe and analyze. Telemetry RNs are tasked with interpreting this information to enhance patient care decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver fundamental bedside care.
- Monitor and manage specialized equipment utilized on patients, interpreting and documenting electronic displays.
- Recognize abnormal telemetry readings and alert the appropriate medical personnel.
- Take corrective measures when monitoring equipment indicates concerning symptoms.
Telemetry Travel Nurses should be capable of standing and walking for extended periods, as well as bending and stooping with ease. Candidates must be able to lift up to 20 pounds regularly, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds when moving or assisting patients. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Qualifications: ACLS, BLS, and 2 years of experience in a relevant field.
Additional certifications may be necessary prior to starting an assignment.
