About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physical Therapist to join our interdisciplinary treatment team. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for planning and implementing individualized treatment programs for pediatric patients, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

* Develop and implement treatment plans for pediatric patients, including exercises, gait training, and other interventions as needed.
* Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical condition and needs, and communicate findings to the treatment team.
* Instruct patients and their families on proper use of wheelchairs, crutches, canes, and other assistive devices.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordinate treatment plans.
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans.

Requirements

* Must be licensed to practice physical therapy in New York State.
* Experience in a hospital or pediatric setting preferred.
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire date.
