Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Demonstrate effective use of supplies and staff labor hours.
- Assist with billing log preparation and duties as assigned to meet patient care or operational needs.
- Obtain blood samples for laboratory analysis as required to complete physician orders.
- Complete and document monthly review of patient medication profiles.
- Knowledge of and comply with applicable healthcare professionals' practice act requirements.
- Perform duties under the supervision of a Charge Nurse and within limitations established by company policy and procedures.
- Maintain thorough, accurate, and appropriate documentation in the patient record.
- Report any significant information or change in patient condition to the Charge Nurse.
- Participate in staff meetings and attend in-service and continuing education offerings.
- Current LVN/LPN license in applicable state.
- CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.
- Confirmation of ability to distinguish all primary colors.
- Previous dialysis experience preferred.
- Successful completion of USRC training program approved by the Medical Director.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of the English language and ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
