We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cheese Packaging Specialist to join our team at Saputo. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate packaging of our high-quality cheese products.
Key Responsibilities- Perform packaging duties as assigned by the Packaging Supervisor, including rotating between lines and positions to maintain good ergonomics.
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve production goals, adhering to all safety rules, work rules, and procedures.
- Inspect products for quality defects and assist in setting up for production and changeovers.
- Operate and maintain equipment, including the foamer, and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and food safety protocols.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent education, experience, or training.
- An excellent work ethic, consistent attendance, and ability to work overtime and holidays.
- The ability to work comfortably with mathematical figures and physically perform medium to heavy work, including lifting and handling 25-30# tubs of cheese/finished product.
