Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant to join our Neurosurgical Team at CoxHealth in Springfield, Missouri.
About the Role:
This is a full-time position that includes inpatient, surgical assist, and outpatient clinical duties. The Physician Assistant will assist with a wide range of neurosurgical procedures and work closely with our team of 9 Neurosurgeons, an Interventional Neuroradiologist, and other medical professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with surgical procedures and provide patient care in the operating room and on the inpatient unit
- Conduct pre- and post-operative patient evaluations and develop treatment plans
- Collaborate with the neurosurgical team to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in educational programs and stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements
Requirements:
- Master of Science in Nursing Degree with NP certification or Bachelor's Degree with PA certification
- Graduate of an accredited program
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
