Job Summary

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Bus Detailer to join our team at Harlow's School Bus Service. As a Bus Detailer, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining our fleet of vehicles to ensure they are in excellent condition for our passengers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize all interior and exterior surfaces of buses, including seats, floors, and windows.
  • Remove any debris, gum, or other foreign materials from the interior of buses.
  • Report any damage or defects to the bus's interior or exterior to the maintenance team.
  • Monitor and maintain the operation of cleaning equipment and report any malfunctions to the maintenance team.
  • Keep a written record of cleaning logs to track the maintenance of our fleet.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership to ensure the cleanliness and safety of our buses.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid CDL driver's license with a school bus endorsement required.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and written information.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with passengers, parents, and other employees.
Work Environment

The work environment for this position will be primarily outdoors, with exposure to various weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment will be loud at times.
