The University of Miami Health Systems is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient status and make recommendations for care to ensure effective treatment.
- Deliver therapeutic modalities, such as oxygen/humidity therapy, hyperinflation therapy, and chest physiotherapy, under the orders of a physician.
- Communicate patient clinical status to the healthcare team, supervisors, and physicians accurately and promptly.
- Graduate from a two-year program in Respiratory Therapy.
- Current and valid State of Florida Respiratory Therapist license.
- Current and valid BLS/CPR and ACLS certifications.
- One year of experience preferred.
