ROLE SUMMARY:


We are in search of an individual who is enthusiastic about constructing a scalable platform that utilizes management tools such as Munki, Chef, and VMWare WorkSpaceOne, among others, to design, implement, and maintain the endpoint infrastructure.

You will create mixed environment solutions for software distribution, deployment, and endpoint management, collaborating closely with our IT Support team, IT Systems Engineering, and Information Security teams to ensure our employees operate in an efficient and secure environment.

Your passion lies in solving problems at scale, with experience in developing a robust mixed environment (Windows, ChromeOS, macOS) that provides a consistent and seamless experience for our end users and support teams.

You are dedicated to delivering the best customer service experience possible while mentoring junior members of our global team. We seek someone who excels at managing Apple, Chromebook, and Windows endpoints on a global scale, enhancing the end-user experience, and refining processes through automation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • * Design, build, document, and support ongoing automation in endpoint deployment and management.
  • * Manage, administer, and scale our endpoint fleet and related infrastructure.
  • * Support and manage Apple, ChromeOS, and Windows operating systems and software.
  • * Define and manage a comprehensive patch and software distribution framework.
  • * Maintain client configuration and security compliance standards across all endpoints.
  • * Implement and iterate on deployment solutions across macOS, Windows, and ChromeOS.
  • * Identify and deploy internal process and automation enhancements.
  • * Serve as an escalation point for the global IT support team.
  • * Contribute to the growth and mentorship of the global IT team.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  • * Proven experience managing Apple, Chromebook, and Windows endpoints at a global scale.
  • * Proficient in utilizing tools such as VMWare WorkSpaceOne, Microsoft Endpoint Manager / Intune, Jamf Pro, Munki, Puppet, and Chef for platform management.
  • * Ability to identify opportunities for improving efficiency and scaling services through automation tools.
  • * Strong background in Windows administration, comfortable with AD administration and group policy management.
  • * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • * A collaborative team player who is diligent, quick to learn, and thrives in an agile environment.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • * 5-7 years of experience in an IT Engineering or IT Support role within an enterprise environment.
  • * 4+ years of experience with endpoint management or DevOps tools (Jamf Pro, Chef, Munki, Puppet, etc.).
  • * 2+ years of experience in Windows administration (AD, WSUS, GPO management).
  • * Expert-level knowledge of MDM (e.g., Workspace ONE, JAMF Pro, MicroMDM).
  • * Proficient in scripting and coding in at least one language (Bash, Powershell, Python, Ruby, GO).
  • * Comfortable working within a version control environment (Subversion, Git, etc.).
  • * Understanding of networking fundamentals and support (VPN, DNS, DHCP).
