Overview

KPH Healthcare Services is seeking a skilled Delivery Route Specialist to join our care team. This role involves working under direct supervision and following standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of patient orders and supplies, ensuring total patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Key duties include:

  • Complying with all State and Federal laws governing the proper and safe operation of a motor vehicle.
  • Complying with all State and Federal laws governing the proper and safe delivery of prescriptions to the patient or their agent.
  • Preparing packages for home/business delivery in an accurate and efficient manner.
  • Responsible for infusion pump pickup per company policy when required.
  • Scheduling delivery routes in the most efficient manner to ensure timely delivery with the least travel required.
  • Informing patients of prescription counseling services when delivering prescriptions.
  • Properly processing receipts upon completion of delivery.
  • Ensuring all necessary vehicle maintenance is performed on company delivery vehicles, including interior and exterior maintenance.
  • Replenishing delivery supplies as needed.
  • Greeting patients using appropriate greetings and maintaining customer service levels as needed.
  • Staying up-to-date with all State and Federal requirements as related to conditions of employment.
  • Completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs.
  • Required to read and sign the Fleet Management Policy.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Requirements include:

  • Minimum: High School Diploma (or currently enrolled in) or GED.

Job requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License in good standing.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a related position.

Special Conditions of Employment:

  • Drug test.
  • Initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring.
  • Any and all additional eligibility requirements based on the specific position.

Job Skills Required:

  • Basic Math skills necessary to make accurate change.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Requires the ability to sit, stand, climb stairs, and walk throughout the duration of the shift.
  • Limited lifting up to 40 lbs.

Attendance Requirements:

Must be available and on-time for scheduled work shifts.
