Key Responsibilities- CT Imaging Procedures: Perform computed tomography techniques and examinations, including assisting radiologists with biopsies, cardiac CT, CT Angiograms, and post-processing.
- Image Production: Produce computed tomography scans for diagnostic interpretation, ensuring high-quality images are produced.
- Equipment Operation: Operate CT equipment and select technical factors to ensure optimal image quality.
- Patient Safety: Provide radiation protection for patients, families, staff, and the general public.
- Documentation: Document all related data, including patient information and exam records.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Education: High School Diploma/GED and Technical Diploma - Radiology Program.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in CT imaging, with pediatric experience preferred.
- Certifications: Computed Tomography (CT) certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board within 12 months.
- Skills: Basic knowledge of computed tomography imaging, picture archiving and communication systems (PACS), and radiology information systems. Intermediate proficiency with office software, including Microsoft Office.
