Cement Mason

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cement Mason to join our team at Millstone Weber LLC. As a Cement Mason, you will be responsible for constructing, finishing, and repairing concrete structures such as buildings, bridges, and roads.

• Set forms to hold concrete, ensuring proper alignment and pitch.
• Spread, level, and smooth concrete using various tools.
• Monitor curing conditions, including temperature, wind, and humidity.
• Supervise laborers and direct concrete casting.
• Cut expansion joints and edges using edging tools.
• Clean and prepare surfaces for finishing.
• Apply hardening and sealing compounds.
• Operate power vibrators to compact concrete.
• Finishing surfaces using various tools and techniques.
• Repair damaged areas and install reinforcing rods.
• Install anchor bolts and other fixtures.
• Work with wooden molds and metal division strips.
• Polish surfaces using specialized equipment.

• Demonstrated experience as a bridge carpenter.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to understand work directions and communicate effectively.

• Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Exposed to noise, grease, and dust.
• Work near heavy equipment and moving machinery.
• Exposed to substances like form oil, grease, and ready mixed concrete.
