We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to support the LaunchPad: Social Sciences program at Tulsa Community College. As a Launchpad Specialist, you will play a key role in creating and guiding career-related exposure for students in the social sciences field.

• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to plan and implement workshops, classroom presentations, and student programming to connect students with professionals in the field.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to create opportunities for LaunchPad: Social Sciences students.
• Engage students in all student-focused events and opportunities, including tabling and attending events outside of traditional office hours.
• Support students in identifying their strengths and weaknesses, and provide guidance on career development.

• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences or a closely related field.
• Three years of experience working in a higher education setting to support student success.
• One year of experience providing general career guidance to individuals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and create a safe and welcoming environment for students from all backgrounds.
