We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our 3C Medical Unit team at Christiana Hospital. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care to acutely ill adult patients on a 40-bed stepdown unit.
About the Role:- Assist in managing a 1:3-4 transitional patient assignment or a 1:4-5 intermediate patient assignment.
- Utilize critical thinking and clinical expertise to assess, plan, and deliver individualized care to an adult patient population with a variety of medical diagnoses.
- Work closely with the interdisciplinary team, including nursing, social work, pharmacy, respiratory therapist, physical therapists, speech therapists, hospitalists, and consultants.
- BSN required.
- ADNs candidate are required to commit to obtaining BSN within three years of date of hire can be considered with relevant experience.
- Qualified applicants will have at least one year experience. Acute care or sub acute care experience preferred.
- BLS required.
