BJC HealthCare seeks a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to fill the role of Neonatal ICU Assistant Nurse Manager in our esteemed institution. About the Role:

  • Lead by example, coordinating patient care and personnel management to ensure seamless operations within the NICU unit
  • Mentor and guide staff members, providing feedback, coaching, and performance evaluations to foster growth and excellence
  • Participate in departmental planning, budgeting, and decision-making processes to drive business results and optimize resource allocation
  • Develop and implement effective plans of care, prioritizing patient needs and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Manage on-call rotations, staffing assignments, and overtime scheduling to ensure efficient coverage and meet operational demands
  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a positive work environment and promoting open dialogue among team members

Key Qualifications:

  • RN with 2-5 years of experience in neonatal ICU, preferably with leadership or charge nurse roles
  • Strong background in pediatric nursing, with a focus on critical care and leadership principles
  • BSN degree preferred, with ongoing education and professional development essential for career advancement
  • Effective communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations and build strong relationships

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $115,000 - $150,000 annually, based on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, pension plan, 401(k) match, tuition assistance, and paid time off.
