Job Description

CooperRiis is a therapeutic healing community seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Staff to join our team. As a Residential Support Staff, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to residents in their recovery plans and goals.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in leading recreational, social, and cultural activities to promote resident engagement and participation.
  • Support residents in their recovery plans and goals, providing guidance and encouragement as needed.
  • Fill in for Lodge Advisors as needed to ensure seamless support to residents.
  • Provide support in crisis management situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents.
  • Complete documentation accurately and efficiently to maintain resident records.
  • Assist with procedures such as urine drug screens, breathalyzer tests, and medication administration.
  • Transport and accompany residents on community-based trips, outings, and activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience working with adults with mental health challenges.
  • At least 21 years of age, current driver's license, and acceptable driving record to be covered by company insurance.
