About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Samaritan Health Services. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting pharmacists with medication preparation, labeling, and dispensing prescriptions. You will also be responsible for performing various technical support functions under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, labeling, and dispensing prescriptions
  • Perform technical support functions under the supervision of a registered pharmacist
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
  • Operate electronic equipment, computer hardware, and software to manage pharmacy operations
  • Maintain accurate records and files, and perform other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Current unencumbered Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician License or currently enrolled as a first-year PharmD student in good standing with an accredited pharmacy school and current unencumbered Oregon Board of Pharmacy Intern license
  • Successful completion of Medical Pharmacy Technician course preferred
