Role Purpose
Under the supervision of a certified radiologist, the Radiologic Imaging Specialist will perform a variety of radiographic procedures on patients of all ages, ensuring the acquisition of high-quality images for evaluation by the responsible radiologist.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct radiographic examinations using diagnostic imaging equipment, following the directives of the referring physician and/or radiologist.
- Exhibit the necessary knowledge and skills to provide age-appropriate care to patients, demonstrating an understanding of growth and development principles across the lifespan.
- Assess and interpret patient data to identify individual needs and requirements.
Essential Qualifications
- Education: Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program; an Associate's Degree is preferred.
- Licensure: ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
