Spring Manufacturing Internship Opportunity

Lee Spring Company is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Spring Manufacturing Intern. This hands-on internship program provides a comprehensive learning environment where interns gain valuable insights into the intricacies of producing high-quality springs for various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the coiling and slideforming processes used in spring manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with our engineering team to understand design principles behind different types of springs.
  • Contribute to the design and development of spring prototypes using CAD software.
  • Participate in quality assurance measures and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
  • Explore real-world problem-solving scenarios related to coiling and slideforming challenges.

Learning Opportunities:

  • Gain in-depth knowledge of coiling and slideforming processes.
  • Develop project management skills by working on assignments with clear deliverables and timelines.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including production, engineering, and quality assurance.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a technical school manufacturing program or equivalent.

Duration: This internship program will span up to 400 hours and may be extended based on performance and mutual agreement.
