Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Permanent Chemist to join our dynamic team in the Scientific sector. This role is perfect for an individual who is passionate about chemistry and eager to contribute to our organization's growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform intricate chemical analyses on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure adherence to company and industry standards.
  • Develop, validate, and implement innovative chemical testing methodologies and protocols.
  • Collaborate closely with the research and development team to formulate new products and enhance existing offerings.
  • Conduct routine and specialized tests and analyses utilizing appropriate technical equipment and instruments.
  • Prepare test solutions, compounds, and reagents for analysis and provide guidance on proper storage.
  • Maintain all chemicals, equipment, and laboratories in a safe, clean, and organized manner.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives and timelines.
  • Document all activities, results, and findings meticulously.
  • Offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff members.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and quality of work.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or a related discipline is required; a Master's Degree or higher is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar capacity within the Scientific sector.
  • Expertise in compounding, chemistry formulation, analytical chemistry, quality assurance, research & development, and chemical testing.
  • Strong understanding of laboratory safety protocols and procedures.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using various software and database systems for data analysis and reporting.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively.
  • Willingness to continuously learn and stay abreast of the latest industry trends and advancements.
