Role Overview
The individual in this position will support the construction, assembly, maintenance, and disassembly of tubular scaffolding or other temporary structures. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work at heights without fear.
- Bring basic hand tools to the job site.
- Assess and determine the type of scaffold required.
- Transport tubular scaffolding or other structural materials and erect the scaffold as directed.
- Hoist scaffolding materials to construct temporary structures.
- Secure and level locking sections of scaffolding materials appropriately.
- Stabilize scaffolding by securing it to permanent structures.
- Comply with all OSHA regulations, site-specific requirements, and Austin Industrial protocols during scaffold erection and navigation.
- Dismantle scaffolding upon proper communication.
- Inspect and store scaffolding materials correctly after disassembly.
- Conduct final inspections of completed scaffolding.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Qualifications:
Education: No minimum educational requirements.
Experience: 2-3 years of experience in scaffolding is preferred.
