Psychiatrist/Outpatient Clinic/Independent Contractor

We are a network of outpatient mental health clinics providing comprehensive, full-service mental health services in Florida through in-person and virtual visits.
Job Title: Psychiatrist/Outpatient Clinic/Independent ContractorWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our team as an Independent Contractor. As a Psychiatrist with Harmony United Psychiatric Care, you will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality mental health services to patients of all ages.
Responsibilities- Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions for patients with a variety of mental health conditions.
- Provide medication management and brief psychotherapeutic interventions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
- Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families about mental health conditions and therapeutic strategies.
- Provide documentation of the services rendered in compliance with the company policies and procedures.
- Stay current with advancements in psychiatry through continuing education and professional development.
- Candidate must be a MD (Doctor of Medicine) or DO (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine)
- Candidate must be a Board Eligible or Board-Certified Psychiatrist
- Must have an active license in the State of Florida or in the process of getting one
- Candidates in the final year of their residency can also apply
- Up to $300 per hour
- Additional compensation as a collaborating physician (optional)
- Group malpractice insurance
As an Independent Contractor, you will have the choice to determine your working hours. Our offices are open Monday - Thursday for in-person and telehealth appointments, and you will have the option to work via telemedicine Friday-Sunday.
