About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and support to patients and families
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to nursing staff
  • Participate in patient education and discharge planning
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • A BCLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • A CNA License or enrollment in an RN program
  • 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting (preferred)
