Community and Family Resources is seeking a dedicated Treatment Specialist to join our team in the Women's Residential Unit in Fort Dodge. As a key member of our clinical counseling staff, you will play a vital role in providing addiction rehabilitation services to adult clients.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about recovery and assisting individuals on their journey towards a healthier lifestyle. While lived experience is not a requirement, we encourage those with personal experience to apply.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist clients in completing necessary assessment forms and documents.
- Orient clients to program services and provide ongoing support.
- Monitor clients' whereabouts and behaviors, offering feedback and guidance as needed.
- Report client issues to staff and collaborate on solutions.
- Assist with light housekeeping duties, including cleaning, organization, and maintenance.
- Answer phone calls and forward messages as required.
- Transport clients to scheduled appointments and activities, as directed by the supervisor.
- Search client belongings and assist with facility rounds.
- Enter data and follow up with surveys as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Medication Management Certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
- Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance.
- Lived experience with recovery is a plus.
