As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will collaborate with sourcing, operations, technical, finance, and other colleagues to prioritize sourcing initiatives, develop strategies, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategies for complex and strategic categories

Deliver key category performance indicators such as savings, risk management, and supplier performance

Create multi-year global sourcing strategies to meet category management goals

Technical Responsibilities:

Apply a structured Category Management process to develop category strategies

Analyze market intelligence to identify trends and refine category plans

Engage with division/site procurement teams to qualify suppliers and migrate spend

Analyze category supplier performance data and drive continuous improvement goals

Lead supplier-based business reviews and drive key initiatives such as diversity and sustainability

Conduct negotiations for global agreements aligned with category strategy

Leadership Responsibilities:

Influence cross-functional colleagues to align category strategies and activities

Ensure category strategies and priorities are aligned with divisional business goals

Work with external supply partners and lead cross-functional internal teams to advance key business drivers

Develop strategic partnerships with suppliers and secure capacity

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business or a technical field, or equivalent experience

Minimum of 8 years of procurement/sourcing experience in mid to large multinational companies

Experience in chemical sourcing and previous involvement in a leadership role are desirable

Strong understanding of business operations and experience working in highly regulated industries are valued
