Job Description

In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care in a primary care setting. Your responsibilities will include administering medications, performing routine medical tests, and providing education to patients on healthy lifestyle choices.

  • Patient Care: Assist with physical examinations, perform routine nursing assessments, and administer medications as prescribed by a physician.
  • Clinical Outcomes: Focus on achieving excellent clinical outcomes through adherence to VA guidelines and protocols.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a diploma or certificate from an accredited program of practical or vocational nursing, a valid license in the state of employment, and current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Additionally, you should possess strong communication and computer skills, with proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs).
