Job Title: Weekend LVN Home Health Shift Care

We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team as a Travel LPN. This opportunity allows an LPN to travel locally by working in various GSS locations within a 150-mile radius from home address, providing care with competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, flexibility, and no contract requirement.

Job Summary:

The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to provide high-quality care to our residents in a home health setting. As a Travel LPN, you will have the opportunity to work in various locations, providing care with a focus on resident-centered care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care to residents in a home health setting, including administering medications, wound care, and vital signs.
  • Conduct resident assessments and develop care plans to meet individual needs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure resident-centered care.
  • Document resident interactions and outcomes related to care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary.
  • Provide education to residents, family members, and/or resident advocates on prevention and treatment plans.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
  • Completes required annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training requirements of the department and facility.
