About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Product Owner to join our Industry 4.0 team at Raytheon Technologies. As a Sr. Product Owner, you will be responsible for driving the successful delivery of software products that align with the organization's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a concept of operations on how the product should function and define specific product features.
  • Create product definitions, features, and capabilities based on customer requirements, define the product backlog, and create actionable user stories for the development teams.
  • Design products with a focus on cost-effectiveness and rapid time-to-market across different sectors.
  • Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives and act as the voice of the customer within the development team.
  • Develop product launch plans and marketing strategies.
  • Monitor product adoption and usage metrics.
  • Gather customer feedback and usage metrics and monitor product's performance KPIs.
  • Responsible for Product's documentation.

Requirements:

  • Typically requires a bachelor's in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred).
  • 8+ years relevant professional experience.
  • 4 years of experience with Industry 4.0 and Smart Factory technologies.
  • Experience in bridging the gap between a product's vision and its successful delivery across multiple businesses while working with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with transition to production of software products.
  • Continuous improvement/growth, quality, and analytical mindset.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role.
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies with experience in developing features, stories, and backlog management (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
  • Experience with Product management tools (Jira, DevOps, etc.).
  • Experience with software development lifecycle and software development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting.
  • Certification in Agile methodologies (Certified Scrum Product Owner).

This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
