Radiology Imaging Specialist

RAYUS Radiology is committed to providing high-quality imaging services to our patients. As a Mammography Technologist, you will play a critical role in achieving this goal.
About the RoleThis full-time position involves working five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts, with rotating Saturdays. You will be responsible for operating assigned scanners to produce images of the patient's body for diagnostic purposes.
The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and be able to provide patient-centered care. They will also be able to maintain a positive attitude and working relationships with radiologists, referring customers, and other associates.
Key Responsibilities- Screens patients before exams for any precautions or contradictions pertaining to examination.
- Explains and prepares patients for mammography imaging procedures, ensuring they are positioned correctly for the exam.
- Performs routine and advanced mammography imaging procedures on designated portions of the body, while providing patient support throughout the procedure.
- Adjusts mammography scan parameters correctly and as needed, utilizing dose reduction techniques as appropriate.
